New Orleans, thank you. What a night.
Parkway packed the courtyard for the Throwdown for the Future, and the night raised over $40,000 for the Louisiana Restaurant Association Education Foundation's youth culinary programs.

Mid-City showed up hungry
The covered courtyard at Parkway Bakery & Tavern was wall-to-wall by the time the music got going. New Orleans chefs brought the good stuff, DJ Captain Charles kept it rolling, and the raffle table never had a quiet minute.
Our own Justin Kennedy — Parkway's GM and Head Chef, and the newest member of House of Hogs — opened up his house for the night. The cause: the Louisiana Restaurant Association Education Foundation, which trains the next generation of Louisiana cooks through programs like ProStart. When the dust settled, the room had raised over $40,000 for them. A smashing success, start to finish.
Throwdown at Parkway
A full courtyard, a lot of good food, and a room full of people betting on Louisiana's next generation of cooks.
